QUICK STAMPER
SANBY Co., Ltd.
Designed for a change in model of a square-shaped quick stamper (self-inking rubber stamp) that has long been manufactured and sold by Sanby Corporation (Tennoji Ward, Osaka City). The design was based on a tapered appearance and eliminated all extraneous elements, aiming for a basic form that would last even longer than the previous product. Also, basing it as the standard design, we paid close attention to every detail to ensure that the design concept would remain unchanged even when the product was horizontally expanded to various sizes and ratios. The new seal icon, which could be used daily in offices, convenience stores, post offices, and various other places, has a design that thoroughly blends into the landscape of people's lives, fulfilling its role as a product of what it is designed to be.
サンビー株式会社(大阪市天王寺区)が長きにわたり製造販売している、角型のクイックスタンパー(浸透印)のモデルチェンジに伴うデザイン。
ロングセラー商品のモデルチェンジというご依頼に対し、前商品よりもさらに長い年月風化しないベーシックなフォルムを目指し、テーパーを基準とした外観かつ余計な要素を徹底的に排除しました。また同カテゴリの基準となるデザインとして、様々なサイズや比率に横展開した場合においてもデザインのコンセプトが崩れないように細部にわたりこだわりました。
多くの人がオフィス、コンビニエンスストア、郵便局など様々な場所で日々活用する浸透印の新しいアイコンは、その暮らしの風景に徹底的に溶け込むデザインとなり、役割に徹するプロダクトとしてデザインを行いました。
